The commitments of the Paris Agreement at COP21 are not being met. Currently we are taking the planet to a 3°C increase in temperature by 2100, above the 1.5°C we need. Despite many positive actions, the climate clock is ticking faster than climate action. Latin America, the region with a great biodiversity, has a unique opportunity to integrate social and environmental commitments facing the current #Climate Emergency and promote a sustainable transformation for the planet. More than 20 countries, with thousands of cities, and 600 million people can stop the clock.

 

Galvanizing the region around the announcements of COP26 and increasing pressure for the implementation of the Paris Agreement, represents a historic opportunity for us to send a strong message to the international community: There is not Planet B.
